We’ve Got Team Spirit

Champion athletes aren’t just born - they’re discovered, trained, molded, and tested. Since 2019, Kings Football Academy has been a competitive force in Nairobi, Kenya. We hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts, and a genuine love of the sport. The hallmarks of Kings Football Academy are teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. We nurture children from 4 -17years.

OUR MISSION

To unite and provide young talents across Kenya the opportunity to play football regardless of background, develop social, psychological, physical and technical/tactical skills to prepare them to enter professional teams, Pro academies and colleges through pathways we create for them.

OUR VISION

To develop ball skills and decision-making in the game. To create a fun and dynamic atmosphere for players. To help educate parents on how to understand the sport and their role as a supporter of their child’s development. To prepare younger players for possible transition into competitive soccer

Our Code of Conduct

Players

Players must:

  • Always listen to their coach when training and playing matches.

  • Show respect to their coaches.

  • Always be well presented when at the Kings football Academy.

  • Always wear shin-pads and correct footwear.

  • Show a good spirit on and off the field with no negative behaviors.

  • Respect your fellow players.

  • Play to the laws of the game.

  • Not use rude language or insulting behavior.

  • Always try their best.

  • Not bully verbally or use abusive behavior.

  • Respect the facilities and equipment.

  • Always play to the best of their ability.

  • Play fairly, not cheat or waste time.

Coaches

Coaches must:

  • Show respect to the players, parents and match officials.

  • Abide by the laws of the game.

  • Always be well presented at Kings Football Academy kit.

  • Not get involved in or tolerate offensive or abusive language to a player, match official or a parent.

  • Always set high standards.

  • Must not shout at a child in an aggressive or abusive manner.

  • Not tolerate bullying.

  • Stay on the premises with a child until parent/guardian has collected them.

  • Never drive a child back to location/where they live even if parent calls asking for this UNLESS exceptional circumstances.

  • Leave the pitch as you found it by removing goals and equipment unless venue has requested you do otherwise.

  • Pick up any lost property they find after the session.

  • Sign in every child on arrival and make sure the child leaves the session with appropriate parent or guardian.

Parents

  • Always respect the coaches of the Kings Football Academy.

  • Not shout instructions at their son or daughter as this may add unnecessary pressure on the child and could confuse the message, we send to them in a training session or game.

  • Always encourage the players.

  • Let a coach know if you are not staying to watch the Academy session.

  • Dress their child in the Kings Football Academy kit if they are an Academy member.

  • Park their car in the correct area as we may be in residential and school premises.

  • Must respect the facilities.

Non-compliance to Code of Conduct

  1. Player/child /coach meets with Kings football academy management to discuss further.

  2. Player/child would be closely monitored by King Academy coach.

  3. Player/child would be suspended from attending the Kings football Academy until suspension is carried out.

  4. Player/child could be removed from the Kings Football Academy.
